Our Care Promise

  • You will be treated with courtesy and respect
  • You will be treated as an active participant in the care you receive. 
  • We will visit you at home if you are too ill to come to the surgery. Please request your home visit before 11.00am. 
  • If it is urgent you can see a doctor on the same day. 
  • We try to keep appointments running on time and if we are more than 20 minutes behind, we'll let you know why. 
  • We try to give you at least 24 hours' notice of any surgery or clinic cancellation. 
  • If you need to see a specialist, we'll discuss this with you and make the arrangements for you. If you need a copy of the referral letter, please ask at reception.
  • We will arrange a second opinion if appropriate. 
  • We will maintain appropriate medical records. 
  • We will explain what drugs are being given to you and why, and also let you know about likely side-effects. 
  • We will review your repeat medication at least once a year, but come and discuss this with us if you need to.
