GP Training

We are an approved GP training practice which means that we help train GPs of the future as part of our commitment to provide excellent standards of care in the community. GP Registrars are qualified doctors who have already worked in a number of hospital departments (specialties) before entering General Practice, but who need further experience of working in primary care before they are able to join the Royal College of General Practitioners. Each GP Registrars work at our practice for either 6 or 12 months at a time.

Dr Richmond and Dr Evans are the trainers in the practice. Dr Richmond also works as a GP Educator Fellow for Severn GP Training Deanery to help co-ordinate the training of GPs in the Bath area.

Our current GP Registrar is Dr Claire Mansell who joined the practice in August 2011.
